Havana

azur 650 cd player

Read Jeff Day’s review of the Havana at Positive Feedback Online

We have both bought these for our own systems at home and they are amazingly good value for money. Can’t be recommended highly enough!

This is a DAC mainly designed for audiophiles.
It uses a CS8414 digital input with non-oversampling structure.
This is a traditional DAC, so it can’t decode HDCD signals.
The digital signal accepted is based on the capability of CS8414 digital receiver, which means the max: 96KHz in Spdif format.
No digital filter, no Op-amp
Utilizes the legendary R-2R multi-bit Burr Brown PCM56P (16 bits) DAC chip.
No differential phase shift in either channel.
More detailed, yet natural and musical sounding.
Metal case, with silk brushing aluminum plates, acrylic front panel.
1 x USB input, 1 x Coaxial input, 1 x Toslink optic input.
Tube buffered output, tube installed GE5670
Tubes can be used: 5670, 2C51, 396A, 6385, 6CC42, 6854, 6N3,
6854, CV2575, CV4013, CV5894, CV8247, CV2381
115/230V power supply selectable from internal PCB jump pins setting
Output 2.6V, < 800 ohms,
Dimension: 28cm(L) x 15cm (W), 7.5cm (H)
Weight: 1.8Kg

Stockholm

azur 650 cd player

The Stockholm DAC is a non over-sampling and no digital filter DAC and is a successor of our successful Havana series DAC.
The analog section circuit is the same as Havana DAC.
The digital receiving section changed from CS8414 to CS8416 to get higher capacity of incoming S/PDIF format.
Stockholm DAC is capable of up to 24bits/192kHz digital signal inputs yet remains driving legendary PCM56P R-2R digital to analog output.
The USB input section is capable of up to 24bit/96kHz without extra driver installed,
The USB input section can be configured to be synchronous or asynchronous operation by firmware.
Total four independent digital inputs; BNC, USB, RCA and Toslink.
The 4 digital inputs are independent to each other, only one among them will be active and is controlled by the tact switches located in front panel.
Available in black or silver case, when you order please specify which!
